Short version: if the full unlock isn't right for you, email hello@tonicamusictheory.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.
You can request a full refund of the one-time unlock payment within 14 days of purchase, for any reason or none. We would rather you had your money back than be stuck with something that doesn't suit how you study.
Try before you buy: Paper 1 and its practice modes are completely free and need no signup, so you can judge the question style, the bilingual presentation, and the marking before spending anything.
Email hello@tonicamusictheory.com from the address you used to buy, or include your order number or licence key so we can find the purchase. That's all we need.
We aim to reply within 3 working days. Once approved, the refund is issued through the payment provider that processed your order and returns to your original payment method. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 5 to 10 working days.
When a refund is issued, the licence key for that purchase is deactivated and the paid papers are no longer available. Content already downloaded to your device may remain until the app next checks the key. Continuing to use paid content after a refund is a breach of our Terms of Service.
We are not obliged to refund requests made more than 14 days after purchase, but we will consider them. If the app is not working for you, contact us before asking for a refund — most problems are fixable, and we would rather fix them.
If you paid twice for the same thing, or were charged in error, tell us whenever you notice and we will refund it regardless of how long it has been.
If the paid content is unavailable, substantially not as described, or your licence key does not work and we cannot resolve it, you are entitled to a refund whether or not the 14 days have passed. Contact us and we will sort it out.
This policy sits alongside your legal rights as a consumer and does not replace them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights in relation to digital content — for example a statutory right to cancel. Nothing here limits those rights.
